PROGRAMS
S.T.A.G.E.S.Students in Transition Achieving their Goals, Empowered & Self-Confident. Students (14-26) with
disabilities are referred by teachers, parents & service agencies
in Midland, Bay & Saginaw Counties.
Taught in a group setting, this program focuses on helping people with disabilities identify barriers and personal skills that may contribute to employment success. Offered in partnership with Michigan Rehabilitation Services. Visit MRS.
A one-on-one
pre-employment Readiness and skills development program for people with
disabilities. This program is in collaboration with Michigan
Rehabilitation Services.
Independent
LivingSUPPORT COORDINATION
- Assisting to link and coordinate services so people can continue to
live independently in their own homes.
*Now includes supports services designed to aid Veterans with disabilities. For more information, click here. HOME SUPPORT SERVICES - Assist people in hiring, scheduling and coordinating support to help preserve their independence. PERSON-CENTERED PLANNING - A guiding principle of all independent living services, PCP encourages people with disabilities to identify and reach their goals by helping them develop a life plan. PASREP - For persons who want to work, but are concerned with their Personal Assistance costs, Personal Assistance Services Reimbursement for Employment Program may be able to help. ADA Advocacy We can answer your questions regarding the Americans with Disabilities Act, accommodations and accessibility, and provide training and on-site reviews. |
