The Disability
Network of Mid-Michigan (DN/MM), a
non-profit organization advocating for people with disabilities, is now
offering support services for Veterans with disabilities
in 19 Northern Michigan Counties.
This
new program will aid Veterans by linking services which assist them
to live independently in their community and/or achieve greater
independence in
their current living situation.
The goal of the
program is to coordinate all aspects of support received by individuals
who are currently qualified for VA services through the Veterans
Administration. This
will include working with the individual
regarding medical
concerns, employment, education, housing, etc. as well as coordinating
with
partner agencies.
If anyone has
any questions regarding qualifications, please contact your Veterans
Aministration.
