Celebrating The
Americans With Disabilities Act

The Americans With Disabilities Act
Wednesday, July 26, 4 – 7 pm | Heritage Park, Frankenmuth
Disability Network Mid-Michigan invites you to join them for community picnic celebrating the 33rd anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
WHEN: Wednesday, July 26, from 4:00 - 7:00pm
WHERE: Heritage Park, 601 Weiss Street in Frankenmuth
WHAT: Live Music by Stone Street Revival, Food, Fun & Games, & Accessible Recreation
We'll also have partner tables with organizations from throughout the area providing valuable resources and information.
As you walk around the park, you'll notice several informative displays detailing the history of the ADA and the effect its passage has had on our communities.

The first 400 visitors will receive food vouchers which can be used at the food and snack vendors.
In addition to celebrating the ADA, we encourage attendees and their families to learn and share. There will be a timeline showing the history of the Americans with Disabilities Act and its impact. Attendees will be encouraged to share how the ADA has affected their lives.
While registration is not required, knowing how many people plan to attend does help in our event planning and budgeting. We invite you to please take a quick moment to let us know how many people will be attending with you. Thank you!
