Disability Network Mid-Michigan is proud to host a FREE Disability film series, featuring the following:

Art + Medicine, Disability, Culture, and Creativity | 10/7
Artists and healthcare clinicians create alternative perspectives on disability through stories and performances, redefining what we perceive as normal.

Caregiving | 10/14
This groundbreaking documentary, executive produced by Bradley Cooper, explores the personal and national crisis of caregiving for loved ones with illnesses and disabilities. The film highlights the immense pressure on caregivers.

Change, Not Charity: The Americans with Disabilities Act | 10/21
This film highlights the emotional and long fight for equality that led to the ADA’s passage in 1990, which is a shining example of democracy in action and a testament to the power of coalition building and bipartisan compromise.

The Ride Ahead | 10/28
This documentary follows Samuel Habib’s journey into adulthood while living with a disability. The film explores the typical milestones of young adulthood from the unique perspective of a young person with disabilities. It will be shown with open captions and audio description available upon request.
