May is Mental Health Awareness Month

Each May, communities across the country recognize Mental Health Awareness Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness, reducing stigma, and supporting those affected by mental health conditions.

This year, the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) emphasizes the importance of connection through its message: “Stigma grows in silence. Healing begins in community.”

The Power of Sharing Our Stories
Sharing personal experiences can build understanding, connection, and hope. Every story helps break down barriers and reminds others that recovery is possible.

Whether you’re living with a mental health condition, supporting a loved one, or simply learning more, your voice can help create a more compassionate and supportive community.
