PEER GROUPS AND MENTORING
Disability Network of Mid-Michigan connects individuals with disabilities within Midland, Bay, and Saginaw Counties to one another to provide opportunities for people to share and network ideas. Peer groups provide an organized environment for people to encourage, advocate and educate one another. These groups recognize individual differences and promote a person’s strengths through facilitating discussions, activities, and self-awareness.
Disability Network of Mid Michigan is currently progressing towards a new peer group in Isabella County.
Disability Network of Mid-Michigan offers free Mentor training and matching. Connecting individuals to one another to build sustainable relationships, skill building experiences while spending quality time together encouraging independence.
