Disability Network Day At The Capitol
On Wednesday, March 25, all 15 Centers for Independent Living will be converging in Lansing for our annual "Day At The Capitol." This is a time for our staff, board members, volunteers, and consumers to meet directly with legislators to talk about important issues facing the disability community in Michigan.
This is your chance to make your voice heard. Your chance to tell your story! Be an advocate for yourself and for your friends and neighbors. Be an advocate for people with disabilities.
The schedule for the day is:
8:30 - 11:30 am - Meetings with Legislators
11:30 am - 1:30 pm - Legislative Luncheon in the North Corridor of the Capitol Building
1:30 - 4:30 pm - Meetings with Legislators
If you would like to participate, please contact Terri Robbins at 989-835-4041 by March 17th.
Together we are Changing Lives and Changing Communities!
