Vision 2030 Survey Results

Question 1: In five years, what do you envision will be different for people with disabilities?

The number one area of concern was acceptance and inclusion.

Most participants were hopeful for improved options in the following areas:

• Transportation and travel
• Greater community accessibility
• Increased employment accommodations and opportunities
• More affordable housing

Other Findings:

• There was a shared understanding that the number of people with disabilities is expected to grow, and therefore, accessibility and inclusion must be prioritized
• Improving the direct care workforce was identified as a critical need
• Several participants expressed concern that income, housing, and healthcare conditions may worsen
